Medical Methods May Be Waisting Millions Of Tax Payer Dollars In The State Of Missouri And Most Likely Billions On A National Level Of Federal Funds, If All States Opereate In The Same Method, As The State Of Missouri In Improper Use of Funds. And The Patient's Well Being Not Being Properly Handled.

Folic Acid May Be a Cure Or At Least A Help To Mental Patients WorldWide, To Those Patients That Have High Iron Content and High Iron Saturation. The Medical Professionals Will Need To Decide This One With Their Own Studies. The Iron Levels In Your Body Effect The Oxygen Carried To Your Brain According To A Statement Made To Me, From One Medical Professional.

If the methods of all medical professional people that collect money from State or Federal, and Insurance funds operate like this case, then millions of dollars state wide and billions waisted nationally is likely happening. In a time in Present American History when money is tight, why waiste it, and overcharge people for insurance for extremely high medical charges ?

At a expense to state and federal funds,  thousands of dollars of test were made for this person. Shortly after the person was treated and aided in there trouble, they were released to go home. Shortly after the person needed to have further assistance. The person then was directed to a different facility to help them. The new facility was told the patients condition by the two people that brought the patient to them, they explained the patients condition and the name of the hospital that had just recently released the patient, and informed them of what they gave the patient for medication and why.

The New Facility after hearing all this information, act like they disregarded everything they had been told by the two people that had brought the patient to them. The New Facility never made any attempt to get the records that had just cost the Tax payers some $ 20,000.00 or $ 30,000.00 dollars to find out, in the 3 or 4 weeks the test were run. Now the patient is not going to receive the medication the hospital had discovered accidentally that the patient needed for their well being. It was discovered that the patients Iron was very high in Content ( or percentages ) and Saturation levels.

The Patients Mental condition had been returned almost to normal when  released from the first hospital, and became normal very shortly after released.

Since the time of the first hospital until now about 10 or 11 months has passed. The Patient has been in the second Facility about 3 times I think now, at an estimated additional $ 30,000.00 or $ 40,000.00 to Tax Payers.

In all this length of time the Doctor or facility never got the records from the first Hospital. The two (  guardians ) that lived in the same house as the Patient at home and had brought the Patient to the second facility was told that if they wanted to get the records from the Hospital themselves, they could since they had guardianship over the Patient. And the Doctor talking said he would be interested to see the papers if they got them.

Shortly after the patient had been released from the second facility the first time ( This would be about 3 or 4 months after the Patient was released from the first Hospital ), troubles started happening again . Since the patient has now  been removed from the prescribed medicine needed for their health for a few weeks ( The Mental Doctor has never prescribed the needed Medicine prescribed by the first Hospital, or checked into it ) . The woman of the two people that lived with the Patient decided to go to a local medical Doctor to get the Patient back on the prescribed medicine by the first hospital. The medical Doctor prescribed the Medicine for the patient to take. The patients Situation had become bad enough that the second facility had to Hospitalize the patient again.

Well immediately the presribed medicine was removed from being give to the patient when the patient entered the Hospital. The medication that was prescribed is Folic Acid. A medication that was explained to the two guardians living with the Patient as similer to a Vitamin pill. I can only presume that the attitude of the people in this Hospital Unit was that we were stupid and they really didn't care whether she had the Folic Acid or not.

The Patient now after 10 or 11 months shows every sign of trouble they had, when they went into the first Hospital. The conclusion of the two after watching the Patient for all this time, some 10 or 11 months, and not getting the Folic Acid Prescribed to take in the first place, it must be the Folic Acid that helped The patient Mostly.

The Day The Patient was taken to the Hospital this last time, the two took the Patient to a Lab prescribed by a Assisting Doctor involved in this. The Lab found the Patients Iron had climbed again above normal range. This meant to the two, that the medication was necessary for the Patients Well Being.  This information was told to the hospital on what the two had asked the Lab to do, ( the results wouldn't be available though until a day or two later ) . So This last time the Patient has now been admitted some 3 weeks ago I guess from the time of this writing.  The man of the two talked to the people at the Hospital Unit, and said if they consider the medication is only like a vitamin what will it hurt to give the the patient the  medication to satisfy our feelings that the Patient needs it for their good. If they would have refused this time, the two were going to get a lawyer, to protect the Patient. So the Hospital did say they would give the patient the medication. There was one day in the first week the Patients return to the hospital the man was there visiting and ask the Staff caring for the Patient if the Folic Acid was being given to the patient? With a smile and laughter as the person talked,  one of the workers replied , Yes, with a humiliating attitude. At that time it was best to be laughed at for asking about the medication,  as long as the Patient got the medication, for their good.

In the Last week the two have heard that maybe they should not be the Guardian of the Patient, and also they should not be the people that aid the Patient with their funds that the Court ordered them to be in charge of,  and also controled by the Social Security Office. And furthermore we think it's best that you let the State take full control of the Patient and Do what we want to,  and you can just come around when you can, and that way you can express to the Patient your Love that way. So I asked, that means you could ship the Patient anywhere in the State that you want to, and the two couldn't do anything about it ? Yes, I'm afraid that's correct, the reply was. Well if you think about this, it Sounds Like totalatarian power to me. It's what the State Wants, it doesn't matter what the people want.

Tuesday 9, 2003 at a meeting the Patient was in the meeeting with the guardians, The Doctor, and a Social Worker. This day and two days or so earlier the two were informed that they had increased the strength off her mental drugs to the extreme medication that a Patient can receive, there is no drug stronger. It was going to be necessary to take a blood test from the Patient on a weekly basis and it was best for her to be commited to a guest house they call it to medicate the Patient and test the blood. This may take up to 6 months to work according to the Doctor, and not sure if it will work at all.

We had gathered in this meeting to determine if the Patient should remain in their care at the Hospital in a different facility or return home with the Guardians. This is after of coarse they had told us that they thought it best that the patient be removed from all care being given by the two, except that the Patient could remember that the two loved her.  But they would loose all control. The two had already informed the State Workers that they never intend to release their hold, because they cared what happened to her and wanted to keep her near where she could be visited. The State could ship her to Kansas City or St Louis the next day if they wanted to if we had no control.

The Patient Sit there in a chair, Her hair had not been combed, the first time I had ever seen her look that bad. Her words was slurred to the point you couldn't hardly understand her. She cried part of the time, and she said other things that showed she still had a problem. The patient was in very drugged condition, and looked and sounded bad.

The two agreed she was two bad to return home in that condition. But the Patient who had being hearing  voices had not been hearing voices for several days now. Even in the meeting the patient replied as well as other times  that she wasn't hearing voices anymore. So the Question was asked the Doctor about the Voices, and his reply was; Oh yes she hasn't been hearing voices even before she was put on this last Drug that is the strongest you can get. I guess I had a question look on my face,  because he then replied that sometimes she acts childish. Well by looking at her condition we could see no other solution but let them keep her.

Two or three hours later after the meeting, I was driving down the road when my cell phone rang. Hello I Said, my daughter starts talking to me requesting a cherry limeaide and a footlong cheese coney from the sonic drive in. I couldn't believe the change the girl had made in such a short time, she sounded normal as anyone. I couldn't go there right away but Me and My wife took the food to her the next day ( 9-10-03 ). When we seen her and talked to her, she had made a miracle recovery. She looked and talked normal. We couldn't see no reason that she should be placed in a home when she was in this good of a condition.

As to whether there is foul play at work here or not, We don't know, but when we walked in unannounced the next day at noon and seen what we did, well. We do know they wanted her out of our house, because they felt we couldn't be parents, and help her at the same time with her money and medical problems.

 After seeing her in this new condition, We felt differently than we had the morning before. The doctor and staff had informed us they were at the last straw with this medication, even before the meeting the day earlier. In other words that meant to me they needed to put her in a home and drug her with the strongest medication for the rest of her life, unless she starting recovering.

We told the Hospital thru the Patients Social Worker that we changed our mind, we don't agree with the Patient going to this home the way she is. Our statement was this, if you have done all you can for the Patient then we want her to go back to the First hospital and give them a chance to help her. We believe we owe that to our child that she gets the best chance she can to recover. Nothing can help anybody more than Love, and somebody who cares.

If you think it's for money, involved in the parents part, you think wrong. The State of Missouri doesn't give any assistance to people that help these Patients. Although I heard the State of California does give over $ 1,000.00 a month in assistance to help people take care of people like this. What little money she receives from Social Security Office is Strictly Enforced first by the Social Security office that put my wife in charge of her check on the Patients request, and then further regulated by the Guardianship Judge that even made restrictions even harder. Then with all of this pressure to be sure ever receipt and strict records are kept to ensure every penny is spent correctly. Trouble comes to fight for her medication, she didn't get. A fight to hold onto her for her well being. Pressure from the State to release her has now mounted, coming thru these workers.  We know also she will more than likely never get the Folic Acid under this Doctors care if we are not in control to see that she gets her medication.

My wife and I have sought for the well being of my daughter. That she will get the best care. But thru this all, we have seen improvements in her, even now she doesn't hear voices, which is probably the Folic Acid starting to take over and balancing the Iron in her body, Thats What we believe has happened, and has been an improvement because of the Folic Acid.

She was prescribed with ( One Mg of Folic Acid ) per day from the first Hospital.

This Patient is the girl that called me from California asking for my help, Dad she said, will you help me, can I come and live with you ? She has lost her three girls to the State of California, and I believe that her worst problem that she is facing in life is the loss of her children and it is destroying her.  California has taken my three grandchildren from me as well as from her. Now Missouri may take my daughter, by the way things are looking. She will placed in an institution for the mentally ill. People need the States Assistance, not totalatarian muscle. I grieve already from the loss of my three granddaughters, and after our struggle for almost a year, we may loose the mother of the three children. If we, had had  some financial assistance from the State of Missouri, we may of been better able to hire people to take her places and minister to her needs more, than we have been able to from our own pocket money. The state programs they told us she didn't qualify for because we lived to far out, we live about 9 miles from the center of town. I think it's strange The State  will spend thousands of dollars to place a Patient in a State Controlled living place. But at the same time if you want to help them, the State will not help you. It looks like the State of Missouri is federal funded or state funded if they have enough patients. So they won't help people at home, looks like punishment to me.

I will check into this myself if and when I become the U.S. Senator of Missouri. I will see if  I can't get funding for the people that love their family and want to help them. Instead of only helping the State get funding.

When I become U.S. Senator for the State of Missouri I will also check into the waist of Tax Payers Money. If a Patient has already been examined by Doctors, these finding will be mandatory to be forwarded to the next Medical place or person that will deal with a Patient. It Then will be apparent what the Patient has had done to or for them by Previous Doctors. It is a waist of Tax Payers Money to throw out all the reports that have already been done on a Patient, and Have a Care Less Attitude about what somebody else has done, and then proceed and do the test again at the Tax Payers Expense. It is not in the best interest of a Patient and their well being not to have the records from the Previous Doctors, they may not discover a very important need for a Patient that has been found already by the Previous Doctors. I personally think that this is neglect on the Hospital or Doctors Part in the condition of a Patient. I wonder why Mal-Practice Suits are everywhere with stuff like this happening. The Medical Examiners Should take measures in every State to Protect Patients from this Kind of abuse.

I don't believe Insurance Companys will like to give money away either on conditions like these. The cost of Insurance is already out the roof. But that's not Tax money, they can do what they want I guess.

I hope that sharing this Story About Folic Acid may help people in this mental condition, and Doctors  will attempt to help those in need with this cure, and for the sake of people in need, they will at least give the Patient a fair chance to see if it works in aiding the Patients Recovery. The Doctor never mentioned anything about the Folic Acid, I had to Directly ask if he was giving her the medication. he did say he was giving her the pill, but nothing was added to that statement whatsoever. Which means he had no commit, and it appeared to myself he satisfied us only, and he could care less about giving her the medication.

We have hoped that Interested Medical Doctors may read this Story and Try to help those in Need. To at least give the Medication a fair chance to work, because it could become a miracle to the hurting soul in need, and to many thousands in need in the world today.
