Darth Vadar and his seductions to the Dark Side have been
exorcised from Microsoft's soul
The real outcome of this case is very much in Microsoft's
hands. Which path will it take? As the eternal optimist, I'm
hopeful that Darth Vadar and his seductions to the Dark Side
have been exorcised from Microsoft's soul. But only time will
tell.
What do you think? Can an airtight remedy actually be
written, or has a new chapter in antitrust enforcement (or lack
thereof) been started? Can Bill Gates, Steve Ballmer, and the
rest of Microsoft set the example and not only allow, but
encourage, unfettered competition? Or, will it be déjà vu all
over again in another five to ten years?
