A former Pastor of mine ( Marvin Turner ) at 1st Pentecostal Church Of God here in Joplin, Mo.,  resigned as our pastor to become a missionary to Russia with Pentecostal Church of God Organization, Headquarters Here In Joplin, Mo. . He and his wife is in need of prayer. He's in need of prayer from all of us for his present condition. Pray that God will give him a quick recovery so he can return to his ministry in Russia. This man has always showed to me the example of Ministry, and if I can say with humor, quite a character.

Message from his wife

Brother Turner suddenly had a stroke (left middle cerebral artery ischemic stroke) Sunday morning just after 7:00 a.m. Central Standard Time. His right side was partially paralyzed, and his speech garbled, but we are believing God will give him a full recovery. The neurologist rated the stoke on a scale of 1-30 at 26. The danger period for swelling in his brain is the first 24-72 hours. He is in St. John's Hospital in Joplin, room 485. An MRI showed no cancer in his brain, praise God! Please believe with us for yet another miracle! Thank you. May God bless you!
